Online Slots Strategy - Some Winning Slots Strategy Tips

An overview of the simple slots strategy, up the steps slots strategy, patterns slot strategy and squirrel slots strategy and more.

The Simple Slot Machine Strategy

The Simple slot machine strategy is meant for players with small bankrolls but want to play on a high risk-return curve. The player starts by wagering two coins. If the player wins he will wager three coins in the next pull irrespective of his present wager. If the player loses he will reduce the coins wagered by one. Therefore players tend to wager at higher levels and cash in on winning streaks.

Up the Steps Slot Machine Strategy

Up the steps is a conservative strategy that preserves bankrolls low rollers. In this strategy the wager is increased by one coin if the player wins and is reduced by one coin if the player loses. The starting wager is with two coins. Though the player does not cash in on winning streaks to the same extent as in the Simple strategy he stands protected during losing streaks.

3 Star Slot Machine Strategy

The 3 Star strategy is based on the belief that winning or losing streaks are not made by single wins or losses. Therefore the strategy plans on long sequences of bets. A 30-bet sequence would consist of 10 bets of 3 coins, followed by 10 bets of 2 coins, followed by 10 bets of 1 coin. Under normal circumstances this sequence is followed unchanged. However 4 consecutive losses requires the player to shift to 10 bets with one less coin and 4 consecutive wins requires the player to shift to 10 bets with one more coin.

Patterns Slot Machine Strategy

The Patterns strategy does not believe in winning or losing streaks. Also this strategy is meant for players who are not interested in small winnings. Based on their bankrolls and the level of aggression players decide a pattern and the stick to it irrespective of the outcome of each pull. Some common patterns are as follows.

  • 1-1-1-2-2-2-3-3-3-2-2-2-1-1-1: This is a moderately aggressive 15-bet sequence with a 27-coin bankroll.
  • 2-3-3-3-2-2-3-3-3-2: This is an aggressive 10-bet sequence with a 26-coin bankroll suitable for low rollers.
  • 2-2-2-3-3-3-2-2-2-3-3-3-2-2-2: This is an aggressive 15-bet sequence with a 36-coin bankroll suitable for high rollers.

Chicken Slot Machine Strategy

In the Chicken strategy the player keeps on changing the slots machine after each game just like a chicken on the run. The player fixes his bankroll and the number of games he wants to play. He divides the bankroll by the number of games. Suppose he arrives at 30 coins per game. He plans a strategy for each game based on 30 coins. Once he plays out 30 coins on a machine he leaves it and plays on another machine.

Squirrel Slot Machine Strategy

In the Squirrel strategy the player keeps a portion of his winnings aside just as a squirrel stores nuts for winter. In order to execute this strategy the player has to win substantially early on. Suppose the player wins $50. The player sets aside $30 and plays with $20. If he loses the $20 he still has $30 stored away. If he wins again, the player again keeps a portion of his winnings aside. Hence he leaves the casino a winner.
